FASHION PHOTOGRAPHERS EUROPE - A Million Words
The following is a project that I am developing. It came about through meeting a young fashion photographer (Karlina Vitolina) in Latvia in 2006 and now again in 2007, and I am helping her create her website. And through this I started to think about creating a Social Network site for Fashion Photographers around Europe. The project is developing as follows:The world of fashion in Europe has, over the last 50 years, thrived on the creativity and imagination of the young vibrant designers, exploring the rich cultural and changing political landscape.
To accompany this, equally creative fashion photographers have played a vital roll in capturing the images we see as part of our daily life and lifestyle, bring to life a massive industry of opportunity.
FASHION PHOTOGRAPHERS EUROPE in a Social Networking online initiative, aimed at getting you “up close and personal” with the emerging talents throughout Europe. These are the people closely following what’s going on and who is going on with it. They bring you exciting moments from an array of the arts. They create moments of pure magic. They demonstrate the explosive creativity of an industry, in constant change and in continual redefinition. They document every step of development in the careers of some of the best know faces on our planet. And they are able to utilize every possible technological means to produce their professional qualities.
In truth, they are an essential part of the Spirit of the Age…..the Zeitgeist, which is so important to each and every generation.
The thing is, many of these talents actually go completely unnoticed. They work tirelessly and endlessly to learn and perfect their trade and we are all too aware of the difficulties they face in the name of their profession and art.
FASHION PHOTOGRAPHERS EUROPE will aim to get these young talents into the faces of everyone who could possibly be interested in their work. This includes: Fashion Designers, Editors, Actors and Actresses, Artists, Models, etc, etc, etc. We hope to be able to demonstrate a wide variety of talent in all the major European Cities detailing all the necessary contacts of the artists, together with an extensive photographic portfolio of their work.
FASHION PHOTOGRAPHERS EUROPE will also look to create opportunities for our young photographers. In each European City represented, we will make it possible for young artists (of all the arts) and potential models to get a professional photography portfolio at an unbeatable prices.
The aim is to make this a fun project. All we ask is the interactive creativity of young Fashion Photographers throughout Europe.
