You must see the connection between Copenhagen 2009 and Tiger’s present situation.

I just read a comment left by a woman to an article reporting the fact that sponsors are beginning to drop “Brand Tiger”…just when he needs their support most…the likes of Gillette and Accenture being the latest.

The comment said something like: “I will not be spending one penny of my hard earned cash on products that will end up in Tiger’s pocket…”

So, I am reading another article about Copenhagen 2009 and it seems as though we are NOT going to be making an agreement to save the Planet…

Now, I am sure there will be millions of “shoppers” (read women ) not buying Gillette because of Tiger…thing is, will they also stop buying products from companies that pollute the Planet…. or is the Planet not really “that” important a cause to also deserve their support.

We listen to what we are being told and what is the important issues of our day through the eyes of the media…it would therefore be interesting to make a comparison on the amount of news coverage given to Tiger and compare it with the news coverage being given to Copenhagen 2009…I bet we won’t be surprised who had the most coverage…(Hey…is this the start of a conspiracy theory?….you know…Tiger wrecks chances of a Copenhagen Agreement, as the media were all following HIStory and NOT the Planet gig in Copenhagen…

For the record: Tiger is the greatest golfer ever…but do we actually buy razor blades because of him…or drink Pepsi because of him…the sponsors love to be associated with success, but at the first sign of problems, they cut and run. Where is the ethics in that…sponsors should consider making a statement something like: We associated with Brand Tiger in his good days…we are therefore going to support the man Tiger Woods in his time of personal need…..

For people who want a “causes”: Go to Greenpeace website and you will find the TRUTH about the brands whose products you should not be buying.

To Tiger: I wish you luck…welcome to the club….I promise, you will be a better guy at the end of all this…
